 myCNC-ET6 connectors description.

 

 

 

 

 

Built-in power supply

myCNC-ET6 board contains 2 independent 5V 2A step-down converters which can be used to supply Single board Computer (SBC) and TFT screen to build a complete stand alone CNC control.

Connector X10 has outputs +5V(#1) and +5V(#2) and 2 pins GND. Example connection of SBC Odroid-C2 is shown below

 

 

 

Open collector Binary outputs & PWN outputs

ET6 contains 2 open collector binary outputs and 3 PWM outputs. Output circuit is based on Darlington transistor array ULN2003. According to the chip datasheet each output is capable to drive up to 500mA, however we recommend to not exceed 250mA.

 

 

Binary inputs

ET6 contains 4 blocks of 4 binary inputs each block. 4 opto-couple leds whithin the bock have common line. Common line of each block is isolated from other blocks. It makes possible to use different power supply or mixed PNP and NPN sensors with different blocks.

Each common line can be shorted to GND by closing jumper switch, If use internal 24V DC power line to supply sensors.

Control computer for myCNC-ET6.

myCNC-ET6 board works under control of myCNC software. Control computer needs to build a complete CNC control system based on myCNC. It can be either standard desktop/industrial computer with Linux or MS Windows OS installed
OR
small single board computer like Odroid-C2, Odroid-XU4, Raspberry-Pi3/Pi2

 

 

myCNC-ET6 board contains built-in DC-DC converter and mounting holes to install and power-up Odroid/Raspberry computer board.

 


 

 Standard monitor with HDMI can be connected to Odroid-C2 computer board. Screen resolution up to 1920x1080 (Full HD) supported.  Fully functional Ubuntu 16.04 Linux and myCNC control software installed on the computer. NC code files can be uploaded to the computer through Wifi (Samba Server, FTP Server installed on the computer) or USB disks.

We can offer affordable 10" screen with resistive touch to build a complete stand-alone CNC control kit.

 

 

 

myCNC-ET7 connection examples.

 

Binary inputs

myCNC-ET6 contains galvanic isolated binary inputs, compatible with 2-wire NPN, 3-wire NPN, 3-wire PNP sensors and switchers. Its possible to use internal 24V DC or external power supply with sensors. Connection examples are shown on a pictures below.
